How to install MYSQL in CentOS/Linux


Welcome back ! 

Today we will learn to install MYSQL in the Linux or Centos

Before you start installing MYSQL, let’s check either Linux has MYSQL installed or not though:

yum -y list mysql*

It shows that mysql.i686 has been installed in my centos already as:

If not, to install we can simply type code below in the terminal.:

yum -y install MySQL

To start the MySQL, Simply type:

/etc/init.d/mysqld start

That’s it, you ready to enjoy MYSQL in your CentOS or either Linux
